Rental Terms and Conditions

RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to The Wander Wardrobe (the “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Rental Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our designer rental services. By placing a rental order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. Rental Period

  • The standard rental period is [4/8/30] days, starting from the delivery date.

  • Late returns will be charged at R200 per day, up to a maximum of [10] days.


2.  Returns

  • Return shipping is included. A prepaid return bag will be provided.

  • Items must be posted on or before the return date using the specified courier or drop-off instructions.


3. Cleaning & Care

  • All items are professionally cleaned before and after rentals.

  • Normal wear is covered, but you will be liable for:

    • Major damage

    • Permanent stains

    • Alterations


4. Damage Protection

  • A basic wear-and-tear policy is included.

  • Optional Damage Waiver can be purchased at checkout for additional protection.


5. Security & Payment

  • A credit card pre-authorization of up to R800 may be placed on your card.

  • By renting, you authorize us to charge your card for:

    • Late returns

    • Lost or unreturned items

    • Irreparable damage


6.  Non-Return or Theft

  • If the item is not returned within [14] days of your due date, we will consider the item non-returned and:

    • Charge your card for the full retail value of the item, plus admin fees.

    • Take further action, including legal recourse if necessary.


7. Identity Verification

  • For high-value items, we may require:

    • A valid government-issued ID

    • Proof of address

    • A selfie holding the ID


8. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Treat the clothing with care.

  • Not allow anyone else to wear the item.

  • Not attempt to clean or alter the item yourself.


9. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Orders can be cancelled for a full refund up to 72 hours before dispatch.

  • No refunds once the item has been shipped.
